I just recently had friends in town visiting and we drank a lot of coffee out of my small little mugs you know the ones.
With the nail polish bottle very close to the surface pour a drop or two of polish into the water.
Just use darker nail polish colors for colored mugs and make sure that your cups are plain without any decorations or wording.
Add water to your bowl i filled mine about halfway full to allow room for the cup.
So i headed to the thrift store and found these white mugs for 99cents.
How to make marbled nail polish mugs.
Hold the nail polish bottle close to the water otherwise the drops will fall to the bottom instead of resting on the surface.

This is a super easy diy that is also incredibly inexpensive.
Make sure the container is wide enough to fit your mug.

You will also need to cover your entire mug with painters tape to make sure you don t get any other nail polish on it.
The setting process is quick once the polish touches the water so you ll want to move quickly.
Fill a disposable container with about 2 of hot water.
The hotter the water the slower your nail polish hardens.

Quickly use your toothpick to swirl the polish around.
