These marmot women s randonnee gloves are well thought out sturdy and durable feeling with their long cuffs cord pulls water resistant nylon outer shell and goat leather palms and tips of the fingers. These are lined with a softly fuzzy gortex which feelx like you re putting your hands into a warm cloud. The gloves have a good gauntlet to cover your sleeves they cinch tight without difficulty and they have a detachable runaway loop for your sleeve so they won t drop and blow away. The glove isn t coming off by mistake easily with this strap tightened.

Reviewed in the united states on december 25 2016 replaces an older pair of marmot ski gloves i had that were wearing out. I purchased marmot s randonnee glove for cold weather backcountry skiing then discovered i liked the glove for inbounds use as well. Marmot s falcon grip the fingers are made slightly curved is nice as they feel natural rather than artificially holding my hands more open.

These are rather pricey gloves but are the warmest ski gloves i think i have ever owned in 54 years of skiing and i love having the security of the wrist strap when needing to remove them while riding the lift. With a driclime wicking lining the randonnee allows your hands to stay dry on the inside while gore tex fends off wetness on the outside. The randonnee gloves by marmot are the perfect pal for your paws when the weather gets rough. This is a comfortable and well fitting glove.

They held up well to some tough situations i put them through on the mountain and not a bit of moisture got through the gloves.
