Along with the other pieces in marmot s m3 softshell collection the tempo is designed for optimal breathability during high aerobic activity in dry mild climates. This is my third tempo softshell they wear like iron and i take my everywhere when i travel. Perfect light jacket down to 40 degrees or so. Pick up the pace and don t worry about getting all sweaty when you wear the tempo jacket from marmot.

The jacket provides me the elusive balance between having some wind and temp protection while not overheating. It s breathability is great for high exertion stuff but that comes at the expense of wind stopping ability. The comfy and water repellent tempo men s jacket is a terrific solution for hiking running climbing or simply spending the day around town. The marmot tempo is the jacket i go to for road and trail running in temps ranging 30 45 degrees fahrenheit.
