If you can hear the door lock working but the door still doesn t unlock you need to take the door panel off and lubricate the door latch assembly and work the lock loosening it up. Ford transit central locking problem. The easiest way to test is by using the interior light if the light is set to come on when the door is open and stays on when the door is closed this means one of the door switches are faulty it could be one of these switches or the control unit its self.
